My father Mr John Stockwell had been waiting for 18 months for an NHS hernia operation. Needless to say after 18 months the hernia had become very painful and restrictive for him.
We were fortunate enough to see Mr Jeddy at the Nuffied in Brentwood as an NHS patient.
Mr Jeddy advised he would try to ensure my dad was considered as priority given his very large hernia. only a few weeks later dad was offered the surgery.
Surgery was performed by Mr Jeddy. The care was excellent and dad reported Mr Jeddy dropped in on him just after surgery to see if he was ok (which dad liked).
Mr Jeddy was very kind and caring and very self assured which in turn reassured my dad.
i would not hesitate to recommend Mr Jeddy, not only was the surgery excellent (dad had a hernia op on his other side a number of years ago and reported much bruising and pain afterwards), dad recovered very quickly with very minimal bruising this time round. Mr Jeddy was very personable and approachable which was a bonus.
Thankyou to the Nuffield and Mr Jeddy for giving my dad his smile back!!! he is now pain free.

Had an inguinal hernia repaired in April 2021. Mr Jeddy the consultant undertook the surgery and I cannot fault his care. The hospital team were also outstanding. I was admitted at 7.30am had the operation at 10.30am and was discharged the same day at 8pm. The attention given by the anaesthetist, Mr Jeddy and his team was impeccable. The nursing staff who attended me after the operation were first class. I can only highly recommend the hospital and it’s staff.

I had another laparoscopy for my endometriosis and my care was absolutely fabulous as always, my amazing surgeon, Mr Varma was fantastic as always, as was his brilliant anaesthetist. And my nurse, Jackie was just amazing, she was so lovely the whole time and looked after me so well and, I was very nervous, just put me at complete ease!! Wonderful lady! And Edna was just excellent. I really had a completely excellent experience at Brentwood Nuffield.

Great care from all the nurses/hca’s.
Room was very clean.
Appointments were all on time and I had consultation and surgery within a week.
Highly recommend!

The administration was clear and easy to cope with.
My outpatient treatment experience for scans etc. was excellent.
My hospital stay was extremely well organised and all the staff, and especially the nurses, were helpful and cheerful.
I could not have asked for more.

I was a day patient for surgery with Mr Ali Salih and was a very nervous patient. From the moment I arrived I was made to feel better and cannot fault anyone I came in contact with. Mr Salih was prompt to come to see me and again explained what was going to happen. The Porter when going down to theatre was chatty and trying to keep me calm which helped. The anaesthetist was a lady, sorry I cannot recall her name, but she is very good at her job and reassuring and before I knew it I was in recovery. Many thanks for my care.
